Turgay Aşçı is a founding partner of AEB. He provides legal advisory services to clients in Turkish and English, with practice areas focused on corporate and commercial law, energy law, and administrative and tax law.
His work primarily concentrates on company formation and restructuring processes, corporate governance practices, capital increase and reduction transactions, and shareholder relations. He provides comprehensive legal advisory services in corporate law and plays an active role in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.
Within the scope of energy law, he supports clients in matters such as licence applications and process management, compliance with sectoral regulations, and the drafting of contracts between licensed operators. He also coordinates legal proceedings before the relevant public authorities.
In the fields of administrative and tax law, he handles administrative applications and appeals as well as the conduct of administrative court proceedings, and provides regular updates to clients on developments in tax legislation.
Av. Barış ETCİ
Av. Barış Etci is a founding partner of AEB. He provides legal advisory services to clients in Turkish and English. With 16 years of professional experience, he specialises in banking and finance law, and plays an active role in the recovery of consumer credit and credit card receivables, the management of enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, and the development of collection strategies.
His work primarily concentrates on enforcement and bankruptcy law, banking and finance law, and the law of obligations. He provides comprehensive legal advisory and operational management services aimed at high-volume case management and the achievement of sustainable collection performance.
He plays an active role in the effective management of receivables files for banks and financial institutions, the result-oriented conduct of enforcement proceedings, the development and implementation of strategies to enhance collection performance, and the structuring of processes designed to increase operational efficiency. He also assumes leadership in the management of bank portfolios, team coordination, and strategic decision-making.
Av. Saro A. BENGLİAN
Saro A. Benglian is a founding partner of AEB. He provides services in Turkish, English, French, and Armenian, and leads the firm's domestic and international client relations and business development efforts.
His work primarily concentrates on inheritance and real estate law, commercial and corporate law, and contract law. He provides comprehensive legal advisory services in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder relations.
He plays an active role in mergers and acquisitions, including the representation of both buyers and sellers, the drafting and negotiation of share transfer and shareholders' agreements, and the conduct of closing processes. He also handles the resolution of disputes arising under commercial, contract, and inheritance law and the conduct of related court proceedings.
